Doftwerks was created to solve a problem its parent firm saw every day. As auditors and tax advisors to some of Nigeria's largest organisations, the Stransact team watched finance departments wrestle with fragmented tools, manual remittances, and mounting compliance risk and saw that the software on the market was built by people who understood code far better than they understood Nigerian tax law.
So Doftwerks built the platform from the opposite direction: compliance first, engineered to the standard a regulator and an auditor would both accept, then made fast and simple enough for any finance team to run. That platform is iPay. Today it processes over ₦1.25 billion in payroll every month for businesses across oil and gas, energy, professional services, and international trade.
No other payroll vendor in Nigeria can say their parent firm sits in the same boardrooms as the regulators writing the rules. That is the advantage we are building on and it cannot be acquired or replicated.
